Corey Hermann Wins the Junior Olympic National Championships
Corey Hermann highlighted our team’s travel to Austin, Texas, and the U.S. Jr. Olympic National Championships June 30th-July 3rd, 2009. Corey won 4 fights to capture the Gold Medal in the 12-13 BLACK BELT division. This is Kim’s Competition Team’s second BLACK BELT NATIONAL CHAMPION.
Kyle Hermann won a SILVER Medal in the 10-11 male Black Belt sparring division. Tori Gershom also won a silver medal in the 16-17 female Red belt division. Jackson Myers, in his first national championships, fought his way to a bronze medal in the 8-9 Male Green belt class. Bobby Daggett fought as a Black Belt for the first time in the highly competitive 14-15 male division losing his first match to the eventual champion of the group.
