On Saturday, December 5th, 2009, Kim’s Competition Team sent 5 athletes to compete at the Michigan-Midwest Taekwondo Championships in Milan, Michigan. All 5 athletes medaled at the event.
- Corey Hermann, Gold Medal in 12-13 Black Belt Sparring
- Gary Hermann, Gold Medal in Executive Black Belt Sparring
- Kayla Lenahan, Silver Medal in 8-9 Green Belt Sparring
- Kyle Hermann, Bronze Medal in 10-11 Black Belt Sparring
- Jackson Myers, Bronze Medal in 8-9 Blue Belt Sparring
