Carter started training with Master Kim in September 1999 and within a few months I had to start as well. There is no way you can just sit and watch without “catching the bug” yourself. I have seen tremendous growth and maturity in my Son during his time at Kim’s Martial Arts. I have also seen both physical and mental improvement in myself since I started training. I know we are both better people for having trained under Master Kim.

The fact that Carter “waited” for me and we were able to earn our 1st degree black belts at the same time was icing on the cake. We have since also earned our 2nd degree black belts together. Our time spent on our training has strengthened the normal father-son bond and given us an extra connection for the rest of our lives. Kim’s Martial Arts School is truly a family place for us in every sense of the word.
